Unibilt Homes of Vandalia Ohio recently delivered and erected the last of a 52 module in-fill housing project in the Evanston Neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Unibilt Homes partnered with Model Construction LLC which is headquartered in Cincinnati.
The project referred to as Ambrose Place, replaced sub-standard housing which was demolished in late fall of 2013. Unibilt worked closely with Model Construction design staff as well as their architect of choice which was GBBN Architects also of Cincinnati. Completion of the site is scheduled for June of this year and features 24,000 square feet of habitable space combining 8 townhouses with 18 one and two bedroom flats.
The homes include teak hardwood flooring, ceramic tile floors, factory installed fire suppression systems, and is LEED Certified Silver.
The first modules were delivered in late December with scheduled phased deliveries through early March. All deliveries were made as scheduled despite the extraordinary winter experienced throughout the course of the construction period. A true testament to the advantage of modular construction in that the project is expected to stay on schedule despite the harsh winter.
Watch this blog for continuing updates as the project nears completion by late spring of this year.
